Description
A composite fence with an open-slat effect
Bardline creates an open-slat boundary inspired by open-slat cladding. Its vertical slats deliberately leave gaps for light, structuring the space without becoming a solid wall. The system reads the same on both faces, so both sides of the property line can be finished consistently.
Vertical composite slats
Bardline slats are designed for vertical installation only. Their brushed finish supports a wood-inspired appearance, while the co-extruded composite construction is detailed in the product specifications. Horizontal installation is not provided for in the installation guide.
A dedicated aluminium structure
The fence is configured with the appropriate Bardline posts and profiles: connection profiles, finishing profiles, a corner profile and caps complete the structure according to the layout. Components must not be inferred from another fence system; check the full configuration in the Bardline technical sheet and installation guide.
Colours and boundary uses
Wenge EC 017, Anthracite grey EC 102 and Light oak with black grooves EC 401B can be matched to the surrounding space. Bardline suits an open-slat boundary where filtered visibility is wanted, without promising complete privacy or total screening.
Installation conditions to check
The guide distinguishes plate-mounted installation up to 1,400 mm and in-ground installation up to 2,000 mm. Components, expansion gaps and project height must be checked against the Bardline documentation before ordering and installation.
Bardline slat: section 187,2 x 19,5 mm; length 1295 mm, or 1600 mm on order depending on colour. Brushed finish, declared expansion: 2 mm/m. Bardline slats are installed vertically only.
