1The project
Ultimate straight installation kit on rigid fence in Laval offering 95% privacy and a refined light wood finish with aluminum profiles.
Project Context
Executed in 2023 in Laval for a landscaper client, this project aims to protect a residential garden while ensuring a contemporary and warm aesthetic. The primary goal focuses on blocking views from the rear of the plot, achieving a uniform look that complements a well-maintained lawn and discreet lighting. The project is integrated into an existing rigid fence, for which a durable and visually controlled composite solution was chosen.
Implemented Solution
The choice fell on the Ultimate Privacy Kit® – Straight Installation from the Redcinha® range, compatible with rigid panels featuring a 10 cm reinforcement fold (not compatible with 20 cm) and designed for quick installation. The factory pre-assembled inserts ensure alignment and enable tool-free installation, limiting intervention time per section. The solid slats, with a brushed effect and mass-dyed, ensure a 95% privacy rate and stable colorimetry.
Key features utilized in this project:
- Solid slats of 4 mm thickness, light wood finish, for a natural and uniform appearance.
- Pre-assembled inserts ensuring a regular straight installation and constant spacing within the panel.
- Aluminum finishing profiles, contributing to the rigidity of the edge and the durability of the section.
- UV-resistant material, frost and hail resistant, fungus-proof, with cleaning possible with a high-pressure cleaner (minimum distance 1 m).
- Compatibility with panels with horizontal wire ≥ 5 mm recommended, and 10 cm reinforcement fold.
- 10-year warranty indicated on the kit.
The light wood hue was chosen to bring warmth to the structure while contrasting with the dark metallic framework of the rigid fence. An anti-theft kit is available optionally on the solution, according to the client's needs.
Implementation and Outcome
The installation was conducted section by section, after checking the straightness of the posts and the level of the long beams. The slats were inserted sequentially using straight installation, with the pre-assembled inserts guiding the assembly and limiting adjustment operations. The aluminum profiles were positioned at joint points for a clean upper line and protected lower finish. A functional gap was respected to control thermal expansion of the composite elements.
Project images show a light wood pattern perfectly regular, accented by the horizontal wires of the grid. The posts and metal panels in dark shades highlight the linearity of the whole and reinforce the contrast with the slats. At the base of the structure, a mineral bed and a planted border structure the planting strip; ground lighting at regular intervals enhances the privacy at dusk and highlights the brushed effect texture of the slats. The precise alignment of the projectors and the flatness of the sections showcase a meticulous execution.
The result combines privacy and aesthetic coherence: the rigid fence gains opacity without weighing down the garden’s perspective. The light wood appearance unifies the lateral facade and matches the surrounding architecture, while the composite and aluminum components ensure longevity with minimal maintenance. The overall result provides effective privacy and a contemporary finish, meeting the expectations of landscape professionals on demanding residential projects.
