Decking Reverse 200 in Trévoux

Project Context

Continuous balcony along the banks of the Saône in Trévoux, the structure transforms the space into an open relaxation area by the water. The decking, with warm tones resembling natural wood, complements the light facade and black railing.

Implemented Solution

Showcased product: co-extruded decking board Redcinha® Reverse 200, 200 mm wide, Wengé on one side and Caramel on the other. The choice of this wide decking board limits the number of lines and speeds up installation. The low linear expansion (2 mm/m) ensures precise gap management. The co-extruded surface offers excellent weather resistance.

Execution and Result

The installation is oriented along the length of the balcony, using the Caramel side of the boards for a warm appearance. No visible fastening elements are apparent: the fastenings are hidden, reinforcing the continuous reading of the joints. A technical gap is maintained along the sliding doors to absorb movement and facilitate drainage. The brushed surface enhances the wood aesthetic and the perception of a uniform grain.
