3The project
In Trévoux, a balcony is dressed with Redcinha® Reverse 200 boards in Caramel color, aligned installation with invisible fixings for durable use.
Project Context
Flowing balcony along the banks of Saône in Trévoux, the structure transforms the space into a relaxation area open to the water. The decking, with warm shades close to natural wood, complements the light facade and the black railing. The low furniture and outdoor table facilitate smooth circulation.
Solution Implemented
Highlighted product: Redcinha® Reverse 200 co-extruded decking board, 200 mm wide, Wengé face and Caramel back. The choice of this wide decking board limits the number of lines and speeds up installation. The announced low linear expansion (2 mm/m) allows for precise handling of the gaps in sun-exposed facades. The co-extruded anti-UV and rot-resistant coating meets the riverside environment.
Execution and Results
The installation is oriented in the length direction of the balcony, using boards on the Caramel side for a warm look. No visible fastening elements: the fixings are invisible, enhancing the continuous visual of the joints. A technical gap is maintained along the sliding doors to absorb movements and facilitate drainage. The brushed surface improves the wood aesthetic and the perception of a uniform grain.
