Anthracite composite privacy screening installed straight on rigid fencing in Quimper, 95% privacy and aluminum finishes for a clean, durable look.
Project Background
Located in Quimper, Finistère, this private residence had a rigid fence that required increased privacy without overwhelming the architectural line. The objective was to achieve high-level privacy, a shade coordinated with the exterior joinery, and a sustainable solution for a residential garden. The existing setup included rigid panels with metal posts and a base plate, providing a stable foundation for the addition of privacy screening.
Implemented Solution
The choice was made for the Ultimate® Privacy Screening Kit – Straight Installation by Redcinha®, compatible with Delclo® panels with a 10 cm reinforcement fold (the 20 cm folds are not compatible). The grey anthracite EC 102 shade is combined with RAL 7016 aluminum profiles, ensuring visual continuity with the existing rigid fence.
Key technical features of the selected kit include:
- Installation in less than 5 minutes per panel thanks to pre-mounted inserts (installation without specific tools)
- 95% privacy for effective visual control
- Solid slats with a brushed effect, mass-tinted, 4 mm thickness
- Available slat widths: 43 + 30 mm and 49 + 40 mm
- Aluminum finishing profiles for durability and longevity
- UV-resistant material, resistant to frost and hail, non-rotting

- Simplified maintenance: high-pressure cleaner from 1 m minimum
An optional anti-theft kit is available to secure the slats if necessary. The entire system meets installers’ imperatives: quick intervention, consistent gaps, and controlled finishes.
Completion and Result
After verifying the compatibility of the panels (10 cm reinforcement fold), the teams proceeded with straight installation: the vertical slats are inserted and locked using pre-mounted clips, ensuring consistent alignment along the entire length. The aluminum finishing profiles at the top and bottom standardize the setup and reinforce stability. The anthracite shade ensures visual coherence with the posts and rails of the rigid fence.
On-site, the linearity is enhanced by homogeneous vertical frames and constant gaps between slats, visible across the entire fence facade. The existing base plate protects the slats from splashes at the base of the fence while neatly defining the garden lawn. The assembly presents clean edges, smooth transitions at the posts, and regular flatness of the panels.
The final result offers high privacy for residential use, with a sleek and contemporary aesthetic. The brushed finish of the slats reduces glare, while the aluminum profiles ensure long-lasting mechanical stability. Maintenance remains limited to periodic water rinsing, following recommendations, without requiring surface treatment. This intervention thus combines rapid and controlled implementation with a high level of privacy, perfectly suited to the residential garden environment near Quimper.
