Brown Composite Privacy on Black Fence

Project Context

Located in Écully, Rhône, this private residence aimed to enhance garden privacy while maintaining a sleek design in line with existing landscaping. The black rigid fence, installed on a light wall, served as the framework. The goal was to integrate a warm and natural privacy solution that limits sightlines and matches the well-maintained landscaping visible at the base of the fence: dense lawn, flowering beds, and light-colored paving borders.

Implemented Solution

The choice was made for the Ultimate® Privacy Kit - Upright Installation from the Redcinha® and Delclo® brands, a wood-polymer composite privacy solution specially designed for rigid panels. The inserts are pre-assembled in the factory, ensuring a fast and reproducible upright installation without specific accessories. The solid slats with a brushed effect, dyed throughout, provide a uniform brown color finish with 95% privacy. The aluminum finishing profiles ensure stability and alignment consistency.

This configuration meets the requirements of a demanding residential site: durability, stability, visual uniformity, and ease of maintenance, while integrating seamlessly with the existing black rigid structure.

Execution and Result

The installation began with verifying the compatibility of the rigid panels (10 cm reinforcement bend) followed by the sequential insertion of brown slats. The pre-mounted clips guided vertical alignment, ensuring a straight frame along the entire length. The aluminum profiles were adjusted at the top and bottom of each section to lock the assembly and provide a clean finish without the addition of unnecessary accessories. The contrast between the black posts and rails of the fence and the brown hue of the slats creates a consistent graphic reading, enhanced by the light wall below.

Photos illustrate precise execution: flatness of the panels, constant rhythm of the slats, and controlled joints at the posts. At the base, flowering beds and border lighting enhance the fence and visually mitigate the height, while the lawn emphasizes the linearity of the overall design. The final result combines privacy and aesthetic coherence, with high privacy and reduced maintenance. This upright installation privacy solution is sustainably suited for daily use while respecting the technical constraints of rigid panels and outdoor environments exposed to the elements.
