Braided Anthracite Privacy Rigid Fence

Project Context

In 2022, a partner installer secured a private residence in Compiègne, Oise, by installing a rigid fence with an associated composite privacy solution. The objective was twofold: to protect the perimeter of the residential garden and ensure lasting privacy for the occupants, without disrupting the existing landscape balance. The site, surrounded by dense hedges and a large grassy area, required a solution that was both discreet and contemporary. The anthracite hue chosen visually integrates with the surrounding joinery and subtly defines the property line.

Implemented Solution

The solution is based on rigid fencing panels receiving braided composite slats in anthracite color. The braiding provides homogeneous and regular privacy while offering a dynamic visual effect through the alternation of bands. To protect the entire setup and ensure a clean base, the fence is associated with a continuous concrete plinth, visible along the entire length.

This choice meets the site's needs:

• Privacy: full filling of the panels with braided composite slats.
• Durability: weather-resistant materials suitable for exterior residential use.
• Aesthetics: contemporary anthracite finish, careful fittings, and a regular crest line.

The main components are:

Implementation and Result

The implementation began with marking and positioning elements to ensure perfect alignment. The posts were positioned uniformly, then the rigid panels were installed and aligned using a line. The concrete plinth was installed continuously for a clean look, minimizing low gaps and facilitating maintenance of the surroundings. The privacy was achieved by braiding the composite slats through the mesh of the panels, ensuring tension and uniformity of the weave. The corner and edge fittings received particular attention, ensuring a clean junction between sections.

The photos illustrate the regularity of the work: impeccable alignment of sections, flatness of the top line, and consistent layout of the slats. The anthracite finish unifies the whole and interacts with the green of the lawn and hedges, enhancing landscape integration. The fence now forms a readable, continuous, and discreet barrier that improves site security while eliminating outward visibility. The result is a clear property boundary that is durable and comfortable to live with daily, featuring complete privacy and a sober aesthetic that is consistent with the surrounding architecture and the garden layout.
