Universal Delclo® Support on Rigid Fence

Summary

Project 2026 in Aix-en-Provence: integration of a Delclo® universal support on a rigid fence panel. Objective: mount a standard mailbox. Solution: thermally coated RAL 7016 steel support with universal mount and screw kit. Quick implementation with fine adjustments possible thanks to oblong slots. Result: stable hold, clean alignment with the fence, ready for DECAYEUX, RENZ, DIALL, BURG WACHTER mailboxes.

Context

The site located in Aix-en-Provence, installed on a rigid welded wire fence. The support appears in anthracite gray finish and is positioned on the outer side of the panel. The visible environment features landscaped elements and a light-facing area immediately adjacent to the fence.

Objective

Install a standard format mailbox on a rigid panel. Ensure reliable mechanical support and a cohesive visual integration with the existing elements.

Constraints

• Mounting on rigid mesh: need for an anchor that does not crush the wires or alter the galvanization/painting of the panel.

• Installation height to respect for daily accessibility and alignment with site markers.

Solution

Choice of Delclo® universal support for mailbox in thermally coated RAL 7016 steel. Universal mounting without drilling the support, screws and accessories included; the design accommodates most standard mailboxes and the brands DECAYEUX, RENZ, DIALL, BURG WACHTER. Multi-support compatibility (rigid panel, composite, aluminum, wood, PVC) ensures reuse of the kit in case of future fence evolution. Weather resistance (UV-proof, anti-corrosion) meets the requirements for durable outdoor installation.

Implementation & Result

• Marking and tracing of usable height, then presenting the frame on the horizontal wires of the panel.

• Installing the kit accessories on the mesh side and gradual locking; the oblong slots are used for fine adjustments of squareness and level.

• Plumb control and tightening to avoid any deformation of the wire. The support appears perfectly squared, the seat is flat, and the mesh of the fence remains intact. The RAL 7016 finish visually aligns with adjacent profiles and prepares for immediate mailbox installation.
