2The project
Installation of the Delclo universal support for mailboxes on a rigid panel in Aix-en-Provence, RAL 7016 finish, stable mounting without drilling.
Project Context
Completed in 2026 in Aix-en-Provence, this project involves the integration of a Delclo® universal mailbox support on an existing rigid fence. The aim was to provide a clean, stable, and durable mounting solution compatible with the main market models (DECAYEUX, RENZ, DIALL, BURG WACHTER), without damaging the existing fence. The contemporary and mineral lines of the environment called for a discreet solution that harmonizes with the fence's colors.
Implemented Solution
The Delclo® universal support (Accessories category) was chosen, designed to integrate with various types of fences, including welded rigid panels, Redcinha® composite slats, aluminum, PVC, or wood. Its RAL 7016 thermoset lacquered steel ensures a uniform finish with the Delclo® and Redcinha® ranges.
Main characteristics chosen for this project:
- Universal mounting without drilling, limiting any damage to the existing fence.
- Compatibility with standard mailboxes from brands DECAYEUX, RENZ, DIALL, BURG WACHTER.
- Weather resistance with anti-UV and anti-corrosion protection.
- Fixings and mounting accessories included, quick installation without specific tools.
- 5-year warranty.
- Compatibility with rigid fences having horizontal wire ≥ 5 mm (recommendation for optimal hold) and compatibility with Delclo® Pro+ Panels, Delclo® Pro Max Panels, as well as the Bardline Redcinha® and Claustral Redcinha® slats.
The kit includes 1 RAL 7016 support and associated fixings. The anthracite color, visible in the visuals, integrates discreetly with the mesh and surrounding structure.
Implementation and Result
The installation was performed on a welded rigid panel with horizontal wires, as shown in the images. After marking the working height, the rear frame of the support was presented against the mesh, and the upper hooks were engaged on the horizontal wires. The side plates were then positioned, and the assembly was tightened progressively to ensure rigidity without marking the thermoset coating.
The support forms a robust angle, accommodating the mailbox by simply screwing it onto the perforated front plate. The alignment flush with the fence preserves the visual continuity of the panel, while the RAL 7016 tone matches the woodwork and the fence. The steel structure, with clean edges and precise cuts, highlights a careful finish and a uniform appearance with the Delclo® and Redcinha® sets.
The result meets the site's constraints: discreet integration, firm hold without drilling into the panel, and optimized accessibility for mail delivery. The solution remains adaptable for other fence supports (composite, wood, aluminum, PVC) in case the site evolves. The installation provides a stable and durable base for standard mailbox models while maintaining the integrity and aesthetics of the fence.
