DELCLO Universal Support on Rigid Fence

Project Context

Carried out in 2026 in Aix-en-Provence, this project focuses on integrating a Delclo® universal mailbox support on an existing rigid fence. The goal was to provide a clean, stable, and durable mounting solution compatible with major market models (DECAYEUX, RENZ, DIALL, BURG WACHTER), without degrading the existing fence. The environment, featuring contemporary and minimalist lines, called for a discreet solution that harmonizes with the colors of the enclosure.

Implemented Solution

The choice fell on the Delclo® universal support (Accessories category), designed to integrate with various types of fences, including welded rigid panels, Redcinha® composite screens, aluminum, PVC, or wood. Its RAL 7016 powder-coated steel ensures a uniform finish with the Delclo® and Redcinha® ranges.

Key features selected for this project include:

• Universal mounting without drilling, limiting any damage to the existing fence.
• Compatibility with standard mailboxes from DECAYEUX, RENZ, DIALL, BURG WACHTER.
• Weather resistance with anti-UV and anti-corrosion protection.
• Screws and mounting accessories included, allowing for quick installation without specific tools.
• 5-year warranty.
• Compatibility with rigid fences having horizontal wire ≥ 5 mm (recommended for optimal holding) and compatibility with Delclo® Pro+ Panel, Delclo® Pro Max Panel, as well as Bardline Redcinha® and Claustral Redcinha® screens.

The kit includes 1 RAL 7016 support and the associated screws. The anthracite color, visible in the visuals, discreetly integrates with the lattice and surrounding structure.

Execution and Result

The installation was performed on a welded rigid panel with horizontal wires, as shown in the images. After marking the usage height, the rear frame of the support was positioned against the mesh, and the upper hooks engaged on the horizontal wires. The side plates were then positioned, and the assembly was gradually tightened to ensure rigidity without marking the powder-coated finish.

The support forms a robust bracket, holding the mailbox by simple screwing onto the perforated front plate. The alignment with the fence line preserves the visual continuity of the panel, while the RAL 7016 color matches the carpentry and enclosure. The steel structure, with clean edges and precise cuts, highlights a careful finish and a uniform appearance with the Delclo® and Redcinha® sets.

The result meets the site's constraints: discreet integration, firm holding without drilling the panel, and optimized accessibility for mail distribution. The solution remains evolutionary for other fence supports (composite, wood, aluminum, PVC) should the site evolve. The installation provides a stable and durable base for standard mailbox models, maintaining the integrity and aesthetics of the fence.
