# Rigid, Composite or Barred Fencing: Which Criteria to Compare?

Compare rigid fence, composite fence, and barred fence by use, appearance, system composition, and available documentation.
These three families do not meet the same specifications. The useful comparison focuses on usage, level of transparency, system composition, and site constraints. It cannot conclude to one universally superior solution. **Source of expertise:** Paysapro datasheets for Pro+, Pro Max panels, Claustral and Bardline fences, and Delclo® barred fencing. **Updated:** September 2, 2026. ## Rigid Fencing: Starting from the Panel and Post The Pro+ and Pro Max panels belong to the steel fence family. Compare the wires, folds, heights, and post systems indicated on their datasheets. If screening is considered, check the documented conditions of the panel, kit, and site separately. ## Composite Fencing: Distinguish Between Solid and Lattice Claustral is presented as a system with horizontal slats, while Bardline creates a lattice effect with vertical slats and identical appearance on both sides. The choice therefore begins with the appearance and the complete system, not just the material. ## Barred Fencing: Examine Spacing and Access The Delclo® barred fencing offers another visual interpretation. Check its datasheet for published dimensions and options, and treat gates or portals as integral elements of the package. ## Decision Table to Construct Compare for each family: function, transparency, installation direction, components, documented heights, angle treatments, and access, available parts and points to confirm. Wind resistance, adaptation to the support, and regulatory requirements should remain open when not explicitly proven.
